Please do your part: come out and support the Adrians and our school tonight (VIDEOS*)
On Thursday night this week, B-B-E schools announced that the Homecoming football game will not have a gate fee. Instead, the school is collecting a free will offering at the gate which will be fully donated to the Reed and Carrie Adrian family. The B-B-E Jaguars football team hosts Maple Lake, and kickoff is at 7 p.m. At halftime, the 5th-6th grade youth tackle football team will play in an intrasquad scrimmage. I have heard they have very good numbers this fall, which bodes well for the future of the program.
The Homecoming tailgating party, sponsored by the Belgrade Commercial Club, starts at 5:30 p.m. at the ag shop on the east side of the school building. That is also where the free will donation will be collected.
Here's my fourth fall sports show of the season:
As stated in the prior blog post, Reed Adrian is a Class of 2000 graduate of B-B-E schools.
It is great to hear all the concern from people, and I also want to ask the public to be patient with a funeral announcement. My suggestion is to be prepared to be flexible and be willing to sacrifice part of your time and energy next week for that whole process. There is no playbook here. Also, pray endlessly, and be willing to offer grace to others.
Here's a video featuring the beginning of today's pep fest at the high school:
The fall sports teams were introduced along with the fall theater students.
