Jaguars Baseball at Regal Today

The Jaguars baseball team will officially open their season today at 5:00 at the Regal baseball diamond. The JV squad will play at the high school baseball field at 5:00. They will also open up Central Minnesota Conference play in the process, as they host Maple Lake. Last year the Irish won 6-2 on their diamond, and then they had an extra-inning 3-2 win over the Jaguars in Elrosa. They were two of Maple Lake's three CMC wins last season, as the Irish went 3-11 in league play and 5-16 overall. The Jaguars finished one place ahead of Maple Lake in the CMC (5-9, 6th). I look for the Jaguars to go 2-0 this year against the Irish.
