Jaguars Girls Basketball Sets New School Record For Regular Season Wins- 60-47 Win Against Hancock on Seniors' Night


The Jaguars are now 17-8, breaking the old record of 16-6 set in 1994-1995. They led 28-13 at halftime against the state-ranked Owls (19-4).

The Sub-Section 6AA-East playoffs begin next Tuesday night, and the Jaguars will host a first-round playoff game for the third straight season. They are seeded #4, and Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City will come to town for the sub-section quarterfinals in a 7:00 game. A-C-GC is 15-8 after beginning the season 1-6! They have won 10 in a row going into their game tonight against Sauk Centre.

The Jaguars boys basketball team lost a CMC match up at Maple Lake tonight 59-37. The Jaguars fall to 3-7 in the CMC and 10-10 overall, while the Irish moves to 16-4 overall and 6-4 in the CMC.

Friday night the girls close out the regular season by hosting Eden Valley-Watkins. The boys team hosts Osakis (16-5) at the high school, with the Jaguars Danceline performing at halftime.
