Second Day of Homecoming Brings Coronation & PowderPuff -- Seniors Shutout Juniors 14-0, Anthony Rooney & Whitney Bertram Crowned King & Queen
Coach Richards giving explicit instructions to the Seniors & Juniors captains not to hurt their opponents during the game.
This foreign-exchange student at B-B-E runs the ball for the seniors' team during the Powder Puff football game. She just had a cast removed from a leg today, yet showed no problems with mobility running the pigskin!
It was a successful evening for Homecoming activities at B-B-E tonight. I was impressed at the level of school spirit displayed by the junior and seniors classes, as the boys helped coach their fellow classmates in both grades to a competitive game of Powder Puff. Best of all, no injuries to report to the varsity coaches!
I'll add all my photos to the Sauk Herald photo gallery, beginning Wednesday night.

The Jaguars tennis team fell 7-0 to a powerful once-beaten squad at Osakis. The Silverstreaks had just beaten Minnewaska, one of the best teams in central Minnesota, on Monday.
I would urge anyone planning on attending the volleyball match at home on Thursday night to get there early, as we learned on Monday night how hard it is to find a place to sit if you show up anytime after 7:00. The Jaguars host Maple Lake in their 3rd CMC tilt of the season.
Maple Lake is on a two-match losing streak, as they fell on Monday night to Watertown-Mayer 3-1 and Dassel-Cokato 3-0. Watertown-Mayer is 11-3 overall, a solid team out of the Wright County Conference. Maple Lake's overall record is 5-7-2, and 1-1 in the CMC.
