A rousing pep fest and send-off ceremony will take place at 1:00 at the high school gymnasium on Wednesday afternoon. The elementary student body will be bused over for the big event. It will be fun, cheer loud for me in my absence... work commitments. (Now that's not fun)
Also, be sure to grab a copy of this week's Sauk Centre Herald, as well as the local papers if you haven't already subscribed to them. Plenty of photos in all of them, with the Sauk Herald being being able to publish my "money" shot...which I'll add here for the 2nd time on this website just because the photo is so dang cool!
It appears that in the school board elections, the three candidates that I wanted to see pull through did just that! Paul Weller, Dave Cebulla, and Danny Wold are in the top three vote-getter spots as I write this a little after midnight. It looks like this race for the three school board seats was a close one. It also appears that the two new faces in the race (Weller & Cebulla) both have a lock on winning a school board seat as the top two vote-getters.
Wednesday night update at 5:53pm on the school board election results:
Paul Weller (1,406) - Dave Cebulla (961) - Danny Wold (942) - Ginny Borgerding (912) - Rollie Imdieke (716). The top 3 vote-getters will be seated at the first school board meeting of the 2009 calendar year.
More to follow on Wednesday night.
