The Jaguars improved to 5-1 overall in a high-scoring affair against Wadena-Deer Creek (2-3 overall). With one minute left in the game, the Jaguars led 77-73. They will face the host Mainstreeters. Sauk Centre drilled Frazee 85-35 in the 5:00pm semi-final. Frazee falls to 1-4 overall, while Sauk is now 2-2 overall.

The boys championship game will be at 6:45 on Tuesday night.

The Jaguars girls basketball team faced Wadena-Deer Creek in one of the two girls' semi-finals. They led 31-25 at halftime.

The Jaguars girls basketball team lost 68-64 in overtime to the Wolverines (5-3 overall). The Jaguars are 4-3 overall going into tomorrow's 1:00pm third-place game.

From what I heard, Wadena was up by two possessions in the final 25 seconds of regulation. The Jaguars' press clamped down for two turnovers to force overtime.

Sauk Centre won over Frazee 41-23 in the final girls semi-final of the day.
The Jaguars will face Frazee in the third-place game tomorrow, meaning they won't get a rematch with the Mainstreeters until (possibly) the sub-section playoffs.
