Elrosa Saints drop a dogfight at Roscoe 5-4 - Spring Hill hands Lake Henry 6-0 shutout loss, Memorial Day weekend honored

The Elrosa Saints fell to 1-4 on the season with a very tough 5-4 loss at Roscoe on Sunday afternoon. Roscoe improved to 2-4 in the SCL.


The host Rangers scored on a two-RBI double to go with an unearned run to plate 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th for the win.

The Saints had gone up 4-2 with two earned runs in the top of the 9th inning.

Final at Lake Henry: The Spring Hill Chargers gave the Lakers their first loss of the year with a 6-0 shutout today. Lake Henry is now 5-1, with Spring Hill's SCL record going to 3-1.

Final at Richmond: The Richmond Royals nipped Meire Grove 5-4.

Final at Farming: The Farming Flames fell to Greenwald, 8-2 final score. The Cubs' Clint Hilsgen pitched 8 innings, with D.J. Winter closing in the 9th inning. After opening the season 0-3, the Cubs are now 2-3 on the year.

Those were the four Stearns County League games for Sunday.

Coming up for Elrosa: Friday, May 29th, the Saints host St.Martin under the lights at 8:15pm.
