Area football updates

**Update at 9:25pm...The Central Minnesota Conference has three teams in section final games: Eden Valley-Watkins, Pierz and Maple Lake. What a huge accomplishment for the Central Minnesota Conference.

All three teams very well could make the state tournament - obviously EV-W has the best chance. Don't count out Maple Lake, though - they play a 7-3 Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop team at SCSU on Friday, November 6 at 5:45pm.

Section 6AA:
Pierz is beating Osakis 37-0 going into the 4th quarter in a 2 vs. 3-seed matchup.
That ended up as the final score.

The Pioneers rushed for 320 yards.

Eden Valley-Watkins was beating Morris Area 20-0 in the second half. They are beating Morris Area 39-6 in the fourth quarter.

That was the final score.
