Jaguars girls tennis team drops playoff opener to Melrose in 6-1 loss

The Jaguars girls tennis team picked up their lone point at one singles, senior Laura Johnson, in their home playoff loss to the Dutchmen.

The upside is that only two seniors of the ten starters were seniors, the other being Tia Braegelman at two singles.

Next Tuesday the Jaguars travel to New London-Spicer to compete in the Sub-Section 5A-West individual tournament. Action begins at 9am.
