Further details on Benson FibroMinn girls basketball invitational
Admission at Benson High School is $6 for adults, $5 for senior citizens, and $4 for students each day.
On Friday night the Jaguars will be the home team against MACCRAY, with a 6pm tip-off. Twenty-five minutes after the conclusion of that game, the host Braves face Estherville, Iowa.
At approximately 7:30pm in the auxiliary gymnasium, the Jaguars JV team will face the MACCRAY JV team.
On Saturday, Estherville faces B-B-E or MACCRAY. The schedule depends on whether or not Estherville beats Benson on Friday night.
If Estherville wins Friday, they will play the winner of the B-B-E/MACCRAY game in a championship game. If Estherville loses to Benson, then the 6pm will be a third-place game with the loser of the B-B-E/MACCRAY game.
A little confusing, but this is done in order for Estherville to get a chance to leave town early on Saturday night for the 170-ish mile trip home.
