The Jaguars' baseball team lost a Central Minnesota Conference game 9-2 at Holdingford on Monday night. The Jaguars trailed 7-0 after four innings and never recovered. They plated two runs in the sixth, but the game was then called due to rain. Since they got six innings in, the game was marked as official in the CMC standings. Nolan Zachman's two RBI led the Jaguars' offense.
Further south, the Jaguars' boys golf team scored a 361 to finish 9th at the 15-team Daryl Gunnarson Invitational in Annandale. They defeated CMC members Pierz, Kimball/Eden Valley-Watkins, Rockford, and Maple Lake in the process.
Just up Highway 55 in Maple Lake, the Jaguars' girls golf team finished 6th in a Central Minnesota Conference meet. Seventh grader Peyton Miller led the Jaguars with a 46, followed by Jordan Gruendemann's 49, Amy Knutson's 52, and Katelyn Steffenson's 62.
Kelsey Ross of Osakis was medalist with a 38.
