The Jaguars baseball team (2-3 CMC, 3-6) lost a home game in Elrosa to conference front-runner Holdingford by an 9-3 score. The Huskers (6-0 CMC, 8-1) took a 4-0 lead in the third inning and plated five more runs in the sixth. Sophomore Matt Schmitz led the Jaguars with a 3-for-4 effort at the plate. Kevin Kuefler and Brandon Roelike each added two hits.At Holdingford, the Jaguars fastpitch team lost in five innings by a 12-0 margin. They were held to two hits.

Boosted by a first-place finish by Grant Bell (1600) and runner-up finishes by Ben Borgerding (Pole Vault), Zaph Dotson (200), and Bell (3200), the Jaguars boys' track and field team placed fourth out of nine teams. They defeated Osakis, Rockford, Paynesville Area, St. John's Prep and Hancock. The Jaguars girls' squad defeated Rockford and Hancock.Noteworthy...Kinlee Swanson won the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.2 seconds. Whitney White won the pole vault with a best jump of 8-0. Grant Bell won the 1600 meter run with a time 4:52. Ben Borgerding broke his personal record two times while winning the Pole Vault with a best jump of 12-0.
