Two of the Jaguars volleyball team's wins went into extra points against the visiting Silverstreaks tonight.
The Jaguars (11-3) lost game one after trailing 22-18. They won game two 27-25, game three 25-15 and game four 26-24. Whew! That was close.
With the loss, Osakis is now 6-10 overall, and they haven't defeated the Jaguars since 1999.
Now it's on to Maple Lake on Thursday night!
Below, part of the opening minutes of game two last night against Maccray...
Area volleyball results on Sept. 27:
Sauk Centre 3, Minnewaska Area 0

Swanville 3, West Central Area 0
Benson 3, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 1 (the Braves take a half-match lead in the West Central South Conference standings)
Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 3, Upsala 2 (a pretty big upset in my opinion, as Upsala falls to second in the Prairie Conference standings; it's Upsala's first Prairie Conference loss since Oct. 13, 2009)

Kimball Area 3, Royalton 1
