B-B-E girls' basketball is on the radio tonight at Osakis

Their game against Osakis is on Smooth Magic 107 FM. Tip-off was at about 7:55 with a late start at the Osakis high school.

The Jaguars trail 17-6 with about 8 minutes gone in the game.

With 4:22 on the clock, Osakis leads 21-12 as B-B-E has made a couple small rallies.

Osakis's Analisa Savigeau went coast-to-coast near the halftime buzzer and earned a three-point play to make it a 29-24 halftime score, advantage Silverstreaks.

B-B-E went out scoring nine of the last 12 points of the first half. They trailed by as much as 13 points before going on a 9-0 run to make it 26-24 in the final minute.

Over the game's first 18 minutes, the Jaguars amassed 9 turnovers compared to three for Osakis. Most of those B-B-E turnovers came in the first 8 minutes of the game. The Jaguars are winning the rebound battle by a 14-9 margin.

With 9 minutes left in the game, Osakis leads 39-30.

Brittany Winter took a feed from Brittany Roelike on a backdoor cut and layed it in off the glass to make it a 39-32 deficit.

Final: Osakis 50, B-B-E 34. Raeann Sorenson, who has averaged over 20 points a game in the last 3 outings, totaled 11 points in the first half but was held to only one field goal in the final 18 minutes.

The B-squad won 44-31 over Osakis in the preliminary game.

Up next: a home game on Tuesday this week against conference unbeaten Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted.
