Plenty of action this week for B-B-E varsity squads - Wrestling hosts Rockford on Tuesday night

The B-B-E Dazzlers will compete at the 16th annual Alexandria Cardinal dance team invitational this Saturday beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Jefferson High School. A total of 33 teams have been invited to the event, which includes teams from Classes A, AA and AAA.

Jaguar wrestling hosts tournament Friday
The B-B-E Jaguar wrestlers, who are off to a 4-2 start in dual meets this season, will host an eight-team invitational on Friday in Belgrade beginning at 2:30 p.m. Other teams included are Becker, Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, Minneota and Ottertail Central.

Prior to that on Tuesday night, the Jaguars host Rockford in a Central Minnesota Conference dual meet. The Rockets have a competitive squad this year and are 3-1 so far in duals.

Both Jaguar basketball teams have two road games each this week, with the girls' squad traveling to Sauk Centre on Tuesday and the boys' team facing Eden Valley-Watkins the same night. For the boys, it will be their Central Minnesota Conference debut for the 2011-12 season.
