Six minutes into the first half, HLWW led 7-6 but had accumulated six personal fouls already.

At halftime, it's 26-25 advantage HLWW. The Jaguars have shot 10-of-17 at the free throw line compared to 6-of-8 for the Lakers.
At halftime against Rockford, the Jaguars girls' basketball team has a 34-29 lead thanks to two free throws from Raeann Sorenson with 2.6 seconds on the clock.

Early in the second half at HLWW, the Jaguars have taken their first lead of the game 29-26 with a 4-0 start. The Lakers responded with a 14-3 run, however, to go up by five points 46-41.
Against Rockford, the Rockets pulled ahead 38-37 with 14:30 remaining in the contest. The lead changed hands numerous times in the second half after the Jaguars had built a 36-31 lead on a shot in the paint by Amy Bast. A drive by Raeann Sorenson with 14 minutes left put the Jaguars back on top 39-38. Rockford responded with two straight shots, though, to move in front 42-38.
With 8:35 left, the Rockets had a 48-42 lead and things started to look bleak for B-B-E. The Jaguars stepped up to the challenge, though, and a free throw from Brittany Roelike, a three by Sorenson and a paint shot by Megan Weller tied the game 48-48 with 6:47 left.

Rockford then took leads at 50-48, 55-51, and 58-57 before the Jaguars pulled away over the final three minutes. A rebound shot by Weller put her team up for good with 2:46 left to make it 59-58. **The Jaguar girls' basketball team won 68-62! They take a 6-20 record into the upcoming sub-section playoffs, which begin on Monday at Battle Lake. Rockford falls to 10-16 overall and 5-9 in the CMC in a tie for fifth place with Kimball Area. The Jaguars took 7th place at 4-10 in the league.
