Bring on the Lakers!

Winners of 44 straight games in the Central Minnesota Conference dating back to December of 2009, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team is geared up for a trip to Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted high school south of Howard Lake tomorrow night. The HL-W-W Lakers (7-3) are the other undefeated team in the conference, as both squads sport a 3-0 mark in the league.

Something has to give, so be sure to get your car pools in order and make the trip to the game!

About the Lakers: they are led by two players who average double figures in scoring. At the top is Cody Painschab at 17.9 points per game and then Alex Smith with 11.2 points per game. Painschab shoots 42 % from the floor, while Smith hits at a 38 % clip in field goals. As a team, HL-W-W can score at a pretty solid clip at 65.8 points per game.

Here's a clip from the MACCRAY game not shared yet:

**Added Thursday afternoon...in case you missed this, here's a link to a game recap from two nights ago, when Battle Lake ran roughshod over the Ashby Arrows:

For Battle Lake, their two new transfers haven't worked fully into the lineup yet. When these teams meet in Ashby on February 15, we'll learn a great deal about both of them.
