First half struggle

At halftime: Pierz 7, B-B-E 0. The Pioneers scored with 6:26 left in the first quarter on their first drive of the game...the game's first series. They were held in check for the most part after that with some outstanding defensive play by the Jaguars.

The Jaguars had two great drives underway, but both ended prematurely in the red zone.

Trey Heinsius had an incredible 54-yard reception to breath life in the offense on their last series, but for an unexplained reason the Jaguars could do nothing with a first-and-goal possession at the Pierz seven-yard line! They turned the ball over on a missed field goal inside two minutes left in the half.

Time to get back out there...heavy wind, steady rain...conditions are terrible.
