Jaguars take early first-half lead!
2 minutes left first half in the Class A state semifinals at Target Center...B-B-E 45, Fond du Lac 28.
Halftime: Jaguars 45, Fond du Lac 32. The Jaguars were outscored 4-2 in the final 2 minutes of the game, although they did get a number of shots off in that time.
First half stats run down: FDL turnovers 12, Jaguar turnovers 7; both teams have 4 steals; the Jaguars have a 25-19 rebounding edge. One key difference that stands out is the Jaguars shooting 47.5% from the floor, while FDL is shooting 37.5% on field goals. The Jaguars are 2-of-11 on the 3-point line compared to 5-of-15 for FDL. Both teams have 2 scorers in double figures.
Billy Borgerding leads the team in field goal shooting (5-of-8) with 14 points to lead the team. FDL's Davonte Williamson leads his team with 13 points, comprised of 6-of-9 field goal shooting.
