Friday night football scores in Week One

The Minnewaska Area Lakers avenged a 40-7 playoff-opening loss at the hands of the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters when they traveled to Sauk Centre's O'Gara Stadium and built a 28-0 lead in the fourth quarter. Sauk Centre got two late and unimportant touchdowns to make the final score 28-12. Their last touchdown featured their varsity players battling the Lakers JV team with just 8/10ths of a second left.
