Richmond, New Munich advance to state

New Munich won in dramatic fashion in the 10th inning of their elimination game of the Region 15C amateur baseball tournament against Regal today by a 5-4 score. Elrosa's Aaron Vogt was the winning pitcher in that game.

Richmond ended Lake Henry's season with a 2-1 win by scoring one run in the bottom of the 9th inning.

New Munich then defeated Richmond 9-8 in 11 innings to advance into Sunday's action of the region tournament. With that loss, Richmond is locked in as the number-four seed to the Class C state tournament.
