St. Martin wins region title

A three-win Sunday propelled the St. Martin Martins to earn the Region 15C amateur baseball championship after they beat Spring Hill by scores of 4-3 and 3-2 in the championship series.

New Munich settled for the #3 seed to state after St. Martin beat them 9-3 in the first region contest held on Sunday in Elrosa. Read more from the tournament in the August 14 issue of the Sauk Centre Herald.
