Jaguars vs. Panthers

Morgan Meyer and Erin Rooney, smiling bright tonight after becoming the winning one-doubles team for the Jaguars girls' tennis team. Their win was as good as it gets, coming by a third-set super tiebreaker by a 10-8 score.

A tough Parkers Prairie Panthers squad lost 4-3 to our Jaguars girls' tennis team tonight after holding a 3-1 lead. The Jaguars picked up exciting wins at one doubles, one singles and two singles for the come-from-behind win.


Next for the Jaguars, who improved to 3-5 overall with tonight's win, is a quadrangular meet at Litchfield on Saturday. The Jaguars are 2-1 in the Prairie Conference.

At Kimball tonight, the Jaguars volleyball team rebounded from Tuesday's tough loss by taking out their frustration on the Cubs in Central Minnesota Conference action. The result was a quick win in three games. Next is another tough test when they face state-ranked (#3) Minneota next Monday at Ridgewater College in Willmar. The Vikings, a perennial state title contender, are 8-3 overall and 4-0 in the Camden Conference.
