Girls' golf second at CMC opener

What a great night for outdoor activities! The B-B-E girls' golf team finished in second place at the first Central Minnesota Conference meet of the season. The Jaguars scored a 182 to trail first-place and defending conference champion Osakis who had a score of 173. The Silverstreaks were led by freshmen Alayna Eldred who carded an outstanding 34 to take medalist honors.

The track and field teams hosted a six-team meet to start their season. I have a boatload of photos from the meet. Right now I'm gnashing my teeth trying to find room for track coverage in this week's Bonanza Valley Voice...the press rolls in just a matter of hours so I have to get back to it!
