The No. 5-ranked B-B-E Jaguars baseball team won 4-3 against New York Mills to advance in the winner's bracket of the subsection tournament. They also won for the 17th time of the year. Next is top-ranked Parkers Prairie at 4 o'clock today at Minnewaska Area high school. The games have been aired on Smooth Magic 107 FM of Glenwood. (Thanks, Brady!)

At Moorhead for the Section 6A track and field state-qualifying meet, sophomore Kyle Felling has earned three medals in the four events he competed in: the 100 and 200 open races (third in both) and the long jump (fourth). Also, Jen Boyle, a junior, placed fifth in the triple jump in her first season competing in that event! She ran a career-best time to boot!
