Currently the sports department at the Bonanza Valley Voice has remaining work to wrap up winter sports coverage while also getting ready for spring.
We're also getting some much-needed rest.
Some exciting news (I think) for our B-B-E Jaguars track and field teams...after talking to the coaches on Thursday I learned that they have an ambitious goal of getting turnout to 40 members between the boys' and girls' squads. That hasn't happened in quite a few years for this program.
I haven't gotten a handle on turnout for the other spring sports...baseball and the golf teams don't hold their first practice until next Monday.
