Let's get ready to rumble!!!!

Members of the 2012 varsity Jaguars volleyball team cheering on the football team at SCSU during the Section 4A championship game in November 2012.

How about it, Jaguar Country! Are you ready to help our B-B-E Jaguars volleyball and football teams rock this weekend's playoff contests?

• Friday night, Oct. 27: home volleyball action when our B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team hosts Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at 7 p.m. at the elementary school. ACGC won 3-1 tonight in a play-in round match of Sub-Section 5A-South at Benson. LET'S PACK THE GYM!

• Saturday afternoon, Oct. 28: home football action! Just the third time in school history that the B-B-E Jaguars football team will host a section semifinal game. Kickoff is at 3 p.m., so let's PACK THE STADIUM!! Bleachers, fenceline, you name it - let's fill it with a sea of blue and silver!

If you have spent any time this fall watching our teams, you will know that the volleyball and football squads are heavily senior-dominated. They are chock full, top to bottom, underclassmen to seniors, of a terrific representation of the kids we have in Jaguar Country. If you've picked up a copy of my Bonanza Valley Voice "Band of Brothers" football section that printed on Monday this week, you'll know more about what I'm talking about.

You've got your assignments! Your excuses for missing them are having to work, a wedding, a far-away hunting trip, or having too young of children and no babysitting...and I think that's about it!! Beyond that get yourself and anyone else around you to the playoffs! I won't talk about it more than this, but I am really, really, really hoping to burn a lot of gas in my '98 Buick traveling to road playoff games...but our Jaguars need to win these final home playoff contests for that to be possible.

There you have it. Let's do our part now to support our Jaguars!!!

Let's get pumped up!
