After trailing in the opening minutes, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team has a 29-20 halftime lead against Paynesville.

B-B-E won 53-47. This was a battle to the end. The Jaguars (10-14) held brief double-digit leads early in the second half. and withstood a rally where the Bulldogs cut it to two points.

Next: the Jaguars travel to Kimball Area next Tuesday, Feb. 27 to face the Cubs (19-4, 9-2), who are still in the hunt for at least a share of the Central Minnesota Conference title.
