Sub-section finals

The sub-section final was tied 29-29 at halftime tonight at Foley! The B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team rocketed out to a 15-4 lead against top-seeded Hinckley-Finlayson during the first six minutes of the game.

In the second half, Hinckley-Finlayson has opened up a 49-39 lead. A shot by Ethan Schwinghammer made the score 51-41.

Ashton Dingmann hit a layup for a 53-43 score. Evan Wiener then went to the line with a bonus opportunity, made the first one and completed the bonus for a 53-45 score with under seven minutes to go.

Wiener again went to the line for a bonus shot, hit the first one and then the second at the 6:31 mark...53-47 score!

55-49 Hinckley-Finlayson ahead with 5:30 left! Timeout Jaguars.

Final score: H-F 72, B-B-E 54. A 17-8 disparity in turnovers hurt B-B-E in the game.
