The B-B-E Jaguars girls' tennis team picked up their first win of the season tonight on the home courts. Even with two regular varsity players missing, they pulled out a 4-3 win over Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Upsala-Swanville Area (3-13) in a Prairie Conference meet.
With the team score at 3-2 in favor of B-B-E, No. 4-singles player Jin Dian of China earned a straight-set win to clinch the team win. She is one of five foreign-exchange students at B-B-E high school this year.

Up next: the Jaguars will go for their second straight win when they host Parkers Prairie on Monday at 4:30 p.m. in another Prairie Conference match. This event precedes the B-B-E Homecoming coronation at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
The Jaguars have two home matches next week, which is AWESOME during Homecoming! They host Melrose Area (6-8) on Tuesday.
In other news tonight...the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team defeated Kimball Area on the road in a 3-0 sweep in Central Minnesota Conference action. They're now 14-2 overall.
