Game day!

It's game day! A day I've been anxiously looking forward to since October 28, 2017. That was the date of last year's Section 4A semifinal playoff game. I'm not gonna say any more about that game. It's just a marker in my memory, and tonight we resume play on the home gridiron when the B-B-E Jaguars football team hosts long-time rival Kimball Area.

As a school, B-B-E has been playing Kimball Area since at least 1990. In every season in those early years, the Jaguars and Cubs met for the season opener. That changed in 1999, when the Jaguars entered the Central Minnesota Conference and then had Ortonville for the season opener every year. Kimball became a conference rival.

Today the two teams reside in Sub-District III of the Mid-State District. The Jaguars will have their hands full with a very potent Kimball offense coming to town.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m.! See you there! Come out and show your support!!!

Also! I can't forget to mention...Smooth Magic 107 FM of Glenwood will carry tonight's game. Of COURSE, I want to see you at the game if you can make it! Our guys need your very vocal support!
