Tournament champions!

The B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team got off to a truly fantastic start to the 2018-2019 season, starting off with a bang by winning their Early Invitational tournament in a field of 11 teams. The final tally had B-B-E with 172 points and Willmar with 162.5 points.

Third place went to Benson with 124 points. In fourth was Morris Area/Hancock/Chokio-Alberta with 122.5 points. Fifth through 11th place was as follows:

6. Eden Valley-Watkins 96 points

7. New London-Spicer 94.5 points

8. Annandale/Maple Lake 92 points

9. Quad County 77 points

10. Holdingford 61.5 points

11. Ortonville 36 points.

**Updates from the finals: Canon Swanson (126) and Tyler Jensen (132) won their championship matches by fall. Walker Bents won a 9-1 major decision at 106 for a first-place finish.

At 120, Blaine Fischer lost a close battle for first place, losing an 8-4 decision.

At 145, Tyler Bents won by fall for first place.

At 138, Taiton Lindner won by fall with 1:14 left in the third period.

At 152, Dylan Kampsen lost by fall to take second place.
