(VIDEO) Undefeated

Although it's rare, every now and then I can throw some attention towards junior high sports. Here's a video of the end of yesterday's 8th grade girls' basketball game against Eden Valley-Watkins. It's a rematch of last Saturday's junior high Central Minnesota Conference tournament finals. Both games were won by B-B-E, with last night's game going our way by a 33-21 score.

A B-B-E parent mentioned that three of EV-W's eighth graders are playing "up" on either JV or varsity. So B-B-E's eighth grade team was't facing the full force of EV-W's program at this level. Regardless, it's a great accomplishment to win their CMC title and also go undefeated so far this season...and certainly worth of some future newspaper ink! I believe they wrap up the regular season next week.
