Evan Wiener went absolutely nuts on Paynesville (I say that in a good way) and dumped 27 points on their heads. Bravo!
It was a great defensive night, with the Jaguars holding a high-octane Bulldogs offense 12 points below their typical scoring average. For what it's worth, the Jaguars scored about seven point above their typical scoring average.
*Just saw this: Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted knocked Eden Valley-Watkins out of first place with a 53-50 win tonight!
B-B-E (9-6) is 4-2 in a three-way tie for second place in the Central Minnesota Conference along with Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted and Eden Valley-Watkins. They are off now until next Tuesday, January 29 when they travel to Kimball Area (8-9, 2-4).
