Closed...and wrestling playoffs!

Today, Thursday, February 7, B-B-E schools is closed.

Also, in sports news...
The B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team earned the No. 4 seed in Section 5A. They will host No. 5-seeded Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg on Tuesday, February 12 in the quarterfinals round. Action begins at 7 p.m.

LPGE/Browerville is the No. 1 seed, Minnewaska Area is the No. 2 seed, and Benson earned the No. 3 seed. The Section 5A Final Four is Friday, February 15.

More to come. Time to go shovel snow!

**Update: as of 8 a.m., the "buses in the ditch" count at Minnewaska Area is two. *Facepalm. Thankfully,  no injuries were reported. I also learned that shortly before 9 a.m., Minnewaska announced that school will close at 1 p.m., with buses running by 12:30 p.m.

I'll never understand that school as long as I live.

**Update: the wrestling triangular for tonight on the home mats with Quad County and Benson has been moved to tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 8.

No word on when the EVW boys' basketball game will be made up. Options are gonna run low for make-up dates.

*Update at 11:31 a.m. = a no-travel advisory has been put out by MN-DOT. You can read more at the Bonanza Valley Voice website: https://bit.ly/2TDFpSG. It includes nearby counties, including Pope County in the Bonanza Valley area.

***Other weather-related announcements will be posted at that web article at the Voice website.

And new updates will be relayed here tonight on a new blog post.
