The Jaguars built on a 10-point halftime lead and came away with a 66-52 win at Little Falls. They shot 50 percent on two-point shots for the game and made 30 percent of their three-point attempts.
Now 24-5 overall, they head to the Section 5A finals to play defending champion Menahga. The Braves defeated No. 2-seeded Pine River-Backus 58-57 in their sub-section title game tonight at Park Rapids Area high school.
The Section 5A championship is on Friday, March 8 at 7 p.m. The possible sites are Wadena-Deer Creek high school, Alexandria Area high school or Long Prairie-Grey Eagle high school.

*Update: I just learned from the Section 5A coordinator that the site of Friday's game
**Late Tuesday night update: I just learned that it's Fergus Falls! Fergus Falls high school will be the site of the section finals on Friday this week. Tip-off between B-B-E and Menahga will be at 7 p.m. It's the same site and same teams as a year ago!
*Another update: I finally looked to see who won last night's play-in round game of the Section 5A boys' basketball playoffs. Onamia beat Ogilvie 74-35 to advance to the sub-section quarterfinals. Onamia will head to our house on Thursday, March 7 for a 7 p.m. game against our B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team.
