The B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team is in Royalton tonight for a Central Minnesota Conference contest. The Royals are a CMC member for the first time ever this year, having replaced Pierz's spot.
B-B-E won the first set by a 25-11 score.
Update: the Jaguars won the match by a 3-0 sweep! They hit at a robust 22.1 percent clip for the match.
The Jaguars are now 5-1 in the CMC and tied with the Royals for second place. Maple Lake (18-4, 6-0) won by sweep over Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted to clinch a share of the CMC title.
Next: the Jaguars (15-8) face Rush City in a Section 5A match up at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Halenbeck Hall on the campus of St. Cloud State University. The Tigers are 13-6 overall and 9-1 in the Great River Conference. Rush City recently swept Pine City (15-7) on October 8 to pull into a tie for first place with the Dragons. Rush City won the GRC title in 2018 with a perfect 10-0 mark, while Pine City was second at 8-2.
