Spooktacular success

The B-B-E school band's Halloween Spooktacular concert was a smashing success tonight at the high school. Band members in grades 6 to 12 performed throughout the event. The gymnasium was packed the entire night. It was a zoo at times! A good problem to have. People of all ages - mostly parents and young children - took in a wonderful, music-filled atmosphere while B-B-E band students showcased their early-school year prowess.

I am immensely proud of our band program, the Band Boosters volunteer group and, of course, band director Mrs. Tessier.

More coverage will follow in this week's Bonanza Valley Voice issue. At some point in the future (hopefully yet this week) I will have video from tonight's Halloween concert posted online for the public to enjoy.
