The B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team is sitting in second place at the Jaguar Invite today on the home mats. They trail front-runner and No. 2-ranked Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 127 to 120 points.
In third place is No. 10-ranked (Class 2A) Becker with 103 points.
A total of eight teams are in attendance.
**Update: the Jaguars picked up two big consolation bracket wins at 106 and 170 pounds. At 106, Tanner Viessman won a 4-2 decision, and Cooper Wold won by pin at 170. The Jaguars have pulled in front with 160 points. ACGC has 142 points.
In a 120-pound consolation round match, Ryan Jensen won by fall after trailing 4-2 in the first period. The Jaguars are now ahead 167 to 147 points.
**Finals update: Canon Swanson earned a pin with a time of 1:22 to claim the 145-pound championship. With that win, B-B-E snuck in front of ACGC with 193 points to 188.5 for the Falcons. In third is Becker with 125 points.
