Road trip

The Bonanza Valley Voice won't be making the long road trip, unfortunately, but we will be rooting on the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team from afar as they head to Wright County with a destination of Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted high school.

The Jaguars (5-6, 3-2) are looking for their second Central Minnesota Conference win in a row as they look to keep pace with CMC unbeaten Holdingford.

Here's the website for Central Square and Civic Center in Glenwood: https://www.centralsquare.org. Take a moment and browse their website and list of upcoming events. You can read more in this week's Voice (and last week's too)

Central Square is a premier sponsor of the Bonanza Valley Voice website...along with The Local Pantry of Brooten, the Glacial Ridge Health System of Brooten/Glenwood/Starbuck, the Bonanza Valley State Bank of Brooten and Integrity Home Investments of Brooten. Their support of the newspaper's website is crucial to keeping that outlet for news, photos and video available for the public.

**Update: the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team defeated HL-W-W 52-46 to improve to 4-2 in the CMC and 5-6 overall. The Lakers fall to 8-4 overall and 2-2 in the CMC.

Next: a trip to Maple Lake (3-7, 1-3) this Friday. The Irish began a four-game homestand with Eden Valley-Watkins tonight. The Eagles won 57-31.
