Just as B-B-E schools are set to make a big adjustment to the K-12 learning plan on December 1, here is the latest regarding the COVID-19 cumulative case count for local zip code areas. These figures are reported each Thursday by the MN Department of Health. This week's numbers were released this afternoon.
These are case count numbers for all of 2020, with lab-confirmed cases. A case does not mean an infection, but it does represent a varying level of danger for those who have co-morbidities or who have low zinc and/or Vitamin D levels.
I believe we must be mindful in two respects: (1.) be aware of the local COVID numbers. After waiting for 8+ months for this, now it is taking hold across the area. (2.) work to be healthy, safe and strong. We want everyone to be well both physically and mentally. If you think someone needs a pick-me-up, please reach out to them. Let's get through this!
