Based on the information I have, this will go live at 6 p.m. The YouTube reminder is set for 5 p.m., but I don't think they've updated that yet to reflect that Perham is not in attendance. It will just be a dual meet between MA/H/CA and our B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team.
More to come later. We're back to life in the fast lane around here! Zoom, zoom, zoom.
**Wrestling update: Maximus Hanson at 160 pounds has built a 5-1 lead across his first two periods.
B-B-E holds a 24-15 lead at this point. Morris high school is using KKOK 95.7 broadcasters, and they're doing a great job of play-by-play coverage.
*Update: B-B-E has a 27-15 lead after Maximus Hanson won a 5-1 decision at 160 pounds.4
*Update: senior Dylan Kampsen took care of business in quick order at 170 pounds! He won by pin in just 54 seconds to expand B-B-E's lead to 33-15.
*Update: at 220 pounds, Ethan Spanier won a battle of two sophomores with a 16-3 major decision.
And! To cap it all off, Bryce Feuerhake won by pin with just five seconds to spare in the first period against MAHCA's Carter Gibson. At the end of the match, for an undisclosed reason, the referee took one point away from MAHCA's team score due to unsportsmanlike conduct by Gibson.
Final score: B-B-E 49, MAHCA 20.
The Jaguars are now 22-2 overall and is riding a 14-match winning streak.
