Playoff updates! (Thursday, June 3) **VIDEO

Hoping to get updates here later today!! It's a super HOT day with temperatures approaching 90 degrees. Wow. I packed a bunch of water and a bunch of ice in the van. We'll see how it goes.

**Update: in the fifth inning, the B-B-E Jaguars baseball team is ahead 2-0 over the Upsala/Swanville Area Patriots.

The Jaguars won 5-0 to advance!! They head to Ortonville now to face KMS in another winners' bracket game.

**Update...bummer!! The Jaguars lost by a score of 1-0 to KMS to fall into the loser's bracket. **The Jaguars (11-11 overall) advance to play on Tuesday, June 8 against Browerville. The game will be played at New York Mills (no kidding) starting at 2:30 p.m. If the Jaguars win, they stay alive. If they lose, their season is over.

Update from Wheaton at the track and field Sub-Section 6A-1 meet... It's been a great day for the B-B-E Jaguars track and field teams! They have four student athletes advancing to the Section 5A meet: Branton Jones, Allisa Knight, Ryan Schwinghammer and Kaden Pieper. I have to head home and now... it is getting past 9 p.m. so I will update more when I get home. **The Section 5A state-qualifying meet will be on Thursday, June 10 at Fergus Falls high school.

More to come!

Here's senior Allisa Knight reviewing her two big accomplishments at today's Sub-Section 6A-1 meet in Wheaton!

*And a few minutes after 11 o'clock...we're back home from the track and field meet. We got help in a huge way by the town of Herman, where we had a much-needed pit stop for a bathroom break and some supper! Thank you Broken Door Bar and Grill and AJ's Gas Station!!

More to come. **That's it for this blog post. A new one is posted as of Friday.
