The B-B-E Jaguars girls' tennis team defeated St. John's Prep tonight to improve to 3-4 overall this season. Their next home match is next Thursday at 4:30 p.m. back at the high school courts. Next for the Jaguars is a road trip on Monday (Sept. 13) to Hantho Township in Lac qui Parle County to LPQV high school, where they will play Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd in a non-conference match.

In tonight's volleyball match, the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team won game one 25 to 12 against Holdingford. This is the Central Minnesota Conference opener for both teams.
In game two, the Jaguars have a 9-8 lead. *Final: B-B-E 25, Holdingford 16.
Final score in game three: B-B-E 25, Holdingford 19. B-B-E had a season-high 24.2 percent hitting efficiency against the Huskers while improving to 4-0 overall. The Huskers fall to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the CMC.
Next: the Jaguars travel to Marshall for what will be a five-match, 32-team Southwest Challenge Invitational tomorrow and Saturday. They open the invite with Class 4A Andover at 5 p.m. tomorrow night. Andover was 2-0 going into tonight's home match with Champlin Park.
*Here's video from game three of the NL-S match on Tuesday. I've got a back log of video and photo work to do! This was part of an exciting rally where the Jaguars fought back in the final set from deficits of 13-8 and 15-10.

Spreading the word: tomorrow night (Friday) at Ridgewater College in Willmar, the Warriors volleyball team will host Lake Region State College at 6:30 p.m. The LRSC Royals are a North Dakota junior college team from Devils Lake, ND, coached by former B-B-E head coach Steve Waddell. B-B-E's Jozey Goodall is a member of the team and has played in five matches so far this season. The LRSC Royals are 4-7 overall. Coach Waddell is working with 12 new players on his team.
