The day after, and I needed a little recovery time. That was a barn burner of a volleyball match! Two road volleyball matches in three nights takes a little out of you. But it was exciting to be a part of both wins.
Also, today's home tennis triangular was rained out. That is unfortunate! But we can't help it, and it is very true that the waterways, rivers, streams and area lakes need more rain. They have sure been getting it in the past two weeks. The B-B-E Jaguars girls' tennis team hosts New London-Spicer on Tuesday next week in a non-conference match. Their full season schedule was published in the August 26 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper.
ON to tonight: I am thrilled that the B-B-E Music Boosters are doing their hamburger stand at the football game! They'll have hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs and brats available. Come hungry!!!
More info to come. I have to get office work done.
**Here's the video player for tonight...just in case I don't get it posted on its own again:
Better late than never...this is almost a month old now, but here's a video of Mrs. Deters (early childhood teacher) and Mrs. Spanier (high school student services coordinator) in the ax throwing contest at the Pope County Fair on August 6. Deters is a 2002 graduate of B-B-E high school, and Spanier is a 1998 B-B-E graduate.
Exciting week so far! Let's finish it with a WIN tonight!
