Tonight in their season opener, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team blew open a close game at halftime to defeat Melrose Area 70-45.
Scoring in double figures were juniors Abby Berge (26 points) and Allison Dingmann (14 points). Next: the Jaguars travel to Pine River-Backus on Friday.
