A busy Saturday (VIDEO)
The B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team is getting a huge day of action today at Mankato East high school. They're in a JV and varsity invitational down in the Minnesota River valley. *UPDATE: the varsity Jaguars sit in second place with 164 team points out of 9 total teams. Waconia, a Class 3A team ranked No. 3 in the Top 10 Guillotine rankings, sits in first place with 169 points. *UPDATE: with another round of wrestling in the book, the Jaguars have narrowed the deficit at Mankato East. The current standings as of 3 p.m. show Waconia in front with 177 points, while the Jaguars sit in second place with 175 points. In third place is Watertown-Mayer/Mayer Lutheran with 164.5 points. **FINAL results: the Jaguars took second place behind Waconia. I'll get more posted on this later tonight after the Hall of Fame banquet.
I heard that the B-B-E Jaguars 7th grade girls' basketball team will battle for third place in the Central Minnesota Conference. Also, the B-B-E Jaguars 6th grade girls' basketball team went 2-0 in scrimmages played at Maple Lake this morning. *UPDATE: the 7th grade girls' basketball team took third place in the CMC tournament. They defeated Kimball Area 28-23 in the third-place game.
