Just keep shaking my head
The latest news reports show that the federal government is now attacking extra-curricular activities in the United States. This affects sports and non-sports activities. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provided "guidance" on January 6 that extra-curricular activities be closed down in approximately 99 percent of U.S. counties. This is absolute madness.
When will enough of us stand up and tell the government to stop, to go back to the rocks they crawled out from under, and to please leave us alone?
We're going to continue on with our wrestling, basketball and dance, among other activities...as well as speech, robotics, FCCLA and BPA. These activities are terrific outlets for a student's time and energy. They help keep students focused on self-improvement as well as improving their mental and physical health.
