Today both basketball teams traveled to Browerville high school for non-conference games. One varsity game was a straight-up non-conference game, while the other one was a Section 5A game with seeding implications.
The B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team fell behind in the first half against Browerville and were unable to recover as they fall to 13-8 on the season. The Tigers won 50-48 after jumping out to a 36-23 halftime lead and now hold a 15-3 overall record. They are 6-1 in the Prairie Conference and a half-game out of first place behind Osakis.
I've been tied up with the Tully's Ice Fishing Memorial at Norway Lake. That's consumed most of my day. They had a terrific turnout!!!! Now it's time to get to the Belgrade V.F.W. for their Auxiliary steak and pork chop feed.
