Wrestling Quad updates **Awesome results!!

I'll get wrestling updates posted here from West Central Area high School. **You can tune in to 95.7 FM KKOK of Morris to hear action and get updates throughout the night. They are focusing on the home team, West Central Area/Ashby/Brandon-Evansville.

Against No. 7-ranked ACGC, the B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team trails 6-0 after the first match.

**Update: with just the heavyweight match left, the Jaguars hold a 40-21 lead over the Falcons. Final score: B-B-E 40, ACGC 27.

The second match will start at 6:45 p.m. against No. 4-ranked Royalton/Upsala.

**The Jaguars have defeated Royalton/Upsala!!! It was an outstanding match...Final score: 39-24.

In the other match, host WCA/A/BE had a 26-8 lead after 145 pounds, but ACGC went on to win 35-32. That match went down to heavyweight, which the Falcons won in triple overtime!

**Match updates for the WCA/A/BE vs. B-B-E match...the Knights lead 12-10 after the 126-pound match. Then after the 145-pound match, the Jaguars hold a 20-16 lead.

At 152, Blaine Fischer won by pin in just 39 seconds to put the Jaguars ahead 26-16.

At 160 pounds, Evan Young has an early 2-0 lead after a first-period takedown. Young finished it off with a huge pin with a time of 1:17!!!!
